Sarah is a well-known and respected aviation professional with over twenty one years of demonstrated industry experience within OEM, airline, procurement, PBH, MRO, IT and telecoms sectors. She began her career at European Aviation in 2003, whilst studying for a career in journalism. After graduating with first class honors, it became clear Aviation was the career route she wished to pursue. She went on to manage Avtrade’s Dubai and Singapore offices for a period of three years. Thereafter she went on to independently manage all of EMEA, CIS and India on behalf of Crane Aerospace & Electronics: A role formerly occupied by three global managers, testifying to her enormous energy and appetite for travel and international affairs.
The pandemic led her into IT and to three of the world’s leading IT companies: Google, SITA and Salesforce. She is currently employed at Salesforce where she leads a large team in the Aerospace & Defence sector. Salesforce is the world’s leading CRM company & the third largest software company in the world. The benefit of this experience, particularly in terms of AI and digitisation, would add topical value to the club. Sarah was the first woman to enter Saudi Aerospace Engineering in 2018 and continues to drive the agenda of diversity and equality in the workplace.
Sarah is an avid equestrian, arts and winter sports enthusiast, having formerly competed at national level in three sports. She was also former Editor in Chief, UK of a multinational music publication with content published in over one hundred and twenty countries. She has a keen interest in politics and current affairs, together with an exceptional global network driven by a passion for industry, people and dialogue.
