Rebecca Quayle is a Partner in HFW’s Aerospace team, advising leasing companies, airlines, insurers, financiers and arrangers on a wide range of aviation-related transactions, including sale and leasebacks, engine operating leasing, spare part financing, export credit transactions and commercial financing. She also advises on the negotiation of aircraft residual value insurance policies and aircraft acquisitions and disposals. Most recently Rebecca has acted for a number of top tier leasing companies on leasing transactions, portfolio sales and acquisitions and commercial financing. She also regularly acts for airlines on their financings. Rebecca has worked in the industry for 20 years and has practiced in London, Hong Kong and New Zealand.
Rebecca has been a member of the Aviation Club since 2016 and is a regular attendee at club events. She has been a committee member since 2023. She is a keen supporter of the Young Aviation Professionals Events and has arranged for HFW to regularly host YAP (and Forum) events at its offices. She believes that both YAP and Forum events are instrumental in fostering a more diverse membership within the Club and uses the events as an opportunity to speak with non-members with a view to encouraging them to join. Rebecca regularly formally, and informally junior professionals, particularly those who are grappling with the challenges of balancing work and family commitments.
