Donna Ager is a partner in Walkers’ Global Asset Finance team, based in London. She specialises in aviation finance, advising on Irish law leasing and financing of transportation assets, including aircraft, as well as the establishment of funds‑based aviation leasing platforms, debt capital markets transactions and related mergers and acquisitions.
Donna has more than 20 years’ experience in aviation finance. Prior to joining Walkers in 2023, she was a partner and Head of European aviation at a leading international law firm, and previously spent over nine years in the asset finance team at Clifford Chance.
Her experience also includes working in‑house at Airbus in Toulouse, providing her with valuable commercial insight from an industry perspective. She began her career at Freshfields and was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2001.
Donna is recognised by leading legal directories including Chambers & Partners and Legal 500, and has received industry awards including European Aviation Lawyer of the Year at the Women in Business Law Awards and Irish Law Legal Advisor of the Year at the Women in Finance Awards.
